Three Wishes is a 1988 Hong Kong paranormal comedy screen written by Manfred Wong Man-chun (王文雋), directed by Billy Chan Wui-ngai (陳會毅) and produced by Wong Jing (王晶). Main casts are Anita Mui Yim-fong (梅艷芳), Max Mok Siu Chung (莫少聪), Anthony Chan Yau (陳友), Deanie Yip Tak-han (葉德嫻) and Wu Ma (午马).

Anita plays a double role - a ghost by the name of "Fun-nei" and Anthony's wife, Mui Choi-fa.

Before "Hak Sam Gwai" (Wu Ma) demise, he was a respected gentleman with a heart of gold. Unfortunately, he was crushed to death when he was saving a toddler from a falling placard.

Before reincarnation, Hak Sam Gwai was required to capture 9 souls and present them to the devil. This is where the main plot of the story begins ......
