Cast Saws named after Sci Fi Droids at Forth Valley Royal Hospital. The Fracture Clinic team welcomed some new Cast Saws named after Star Wars Droids R2-D2, C-3PO, BB-8 and from the film of the same name, WALL-E, to the department. Due to their appearance the staff wanted to give them names of the famous Sci Fi characters which will hopefully make them less frightening to the children, big and small that attend the department to have casts removed following fractures and other injuries.
Falkirk Round Table Santa Float and Santa visit Arya Tripney. Santa had gifts for Arya, her cousin Aidan, brother Jaxon and sister Alyssa. Mum, Lisa Crawford, Dad, Jordan Tripney and family enjoyed the visit too.

A fire in a property on Mary Street on Saturday night destroys a flat and badly damages some commercial properties. Mary Street remains closed between Boyd Street and Mary Street Roundabout while Scottish Fire and Rescue Service assess damage and cause of the fire. Police Scotland, gas engineers and structural engineers remain at the scene.
Grangemouth Flood Protection Scheme flood defence plans revealed.
The Grangemouth Flood Protection Scheme (GFPS) has launched a new virtual exhibition to allow local people to view the proposed final design from their own homes.
The virtual exhibition designed by scheme consultants Jacobs on behalf of Falkirk Council, features flythroughs of the scheme and detailed information about the flood defence designs covering Grangemouth, Wholeflats, Glensburgh, Langlees, Carron and Carronshore and Camelon (Stirling Road).

Macmillan Cancer Support: Denny High pupils shave off hair after one of their dads was diagnosed with inoperable cancer. A teenage son’s wish to support his dad through his cancer treatment has helped raise thousands of pounds for charity. Sam Bolton wanted to do something after his dad Derek was given the devastating news that he had inoperable cancer just days before the end of 2023. Sam's friends Don Findlay, Lewis Bateman and Sam McWatt joined in by getting their heads shaved too.
