Channing Tatum Commented On Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine Post, And Of Course That Sparked All The Gambit Comments

The superhero genre continues to be wildly popular, with a number of shared universes currently in play. The next highly anticipated upcoming Marvel movie is Shawn Levy's "Deadpool & Wolverine," which will feature Hugh Jackman's return as Wolverine. Channing Tatum commented on Jackman's ripped Wolverine post, and of course that sparked all the Gambit comments.

Those of us who spent years watching the Marvel movies in order know that a number of projects have been announced and scrapped. That includes Channing Tatum's Gambit movie, which was shelved years ago. But fans think he might play the beloved X-Man in "Deadpool 3," especially after he commented on Jackman's post.

With Hallmark's 'The Way Home' Renewed For Season 3, Here's What The Stars Told Us About Being Dunked In Water For Time Travel Master

"The Way Home" debuted back in 2023 as Hallmark's first new TV drama in years, with network vet Andie McDowell, "Grey's Anatomy" alum Chyler Leigh, and relative newcomer Sadie Laflamme-Snow as the three women of the Landry family. There was already drama to be found just when it seemed like Kat (Leigh) and daughter Alice (Laflamme-Snow) would have to readjust to living with Kat's mom Del (McDowell), but add a time travel twist, and Hallmark has a hit show now guaranteed a third season. Speaking with CinemaBlend as Season 2 aired in the 2024 TV schedule, the stars opened up about filming time travel via a pond!

Teenage Alice accidentally discovered time travel in the first season when she went back to the '90s, and the show had to find a way to balance time travel and family drama very early on... and Sadie Laflamme-Snow had to be dunked in water. Chyler Leigh would later do the same. When I spoke with the cast at SCAD TVfest in Atlanta, I noted that the time travel scenes are filmed above and below the surface of the water, and the actresses shed some light on how the show pulls it off.

It Feels Too Early For Network TV To Start Canceling Shows, But NBC Just Got The Ball Rolling

The TV season looks a bit different this year, given that the since-resolved SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes had an impact on programming this year. With most shows returning in February this year, we’re truly still in the thick of 2024 network programming. Delays or not though, it’s a bit early to be thinking about cancellations at this point. However, such decisions have already been made over at NBC, it seems. The company got the ball rolling by dropping the ax on two series that fell under the umbrella of unscripted content.

NBC has officially canceled both "LA Fire and Rescue" and "Hot Wheels: Ultimate Challenge." The news comes by way of Deadline, which laid out the network’s plans for games shows during the coming summer. Both of the discarded shows made their debuts in 2023, and each only had one season. A formal reason for their exclusions from the 2024 TV schedule have not been given by the entertainment conglomerate.

'Spider-Man: No Way Home’s' Tom Holland Explains What Went Through His Head When He Was Told They Wanted To Bring Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield Back

Like so many Spider-Man fans on opening night, I’ll never ever forget the moment when Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire appeared on the screen during 2021’s "Spider-Man: No Way Home." Nothing has matched the absolute eruption from the theater on opening night when all three live-action Peter Parkers came together, and I think it’s going to be a while until a Marvel moment as electric as that happens again. I still have to remind myself it actually happened, so these recent comments from Tom Holland about finding out about the whole thing are really taking me back.

Holland reflected on getting to star with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in the upcoming "Marvel's Spider-Man: No Way Home The Official Movie Special Book" (via Marvel). Here’s how he responded when asked where his mind went when he learned of the concept.

We Just Realized Miley Cyrus’ Wild Grammys Dress Was Made Of 14,000 Safety Pins And Now I’m Even More Shook

When Miley Cyrus showed up at the 2024 Grammys, her out-there red carpet look was both dense and barely-there, a dichotomy that made the outfit feel tough and delicate at the same time. Cyrus has now shared more about the look and how it came together. We feel silly saying this, but we had no idea the dress was made out of safety pins. 14,000 safety pins, to be exact.

Cyrus opened up about the look in a post on Instagram, noting how some of the intensive details on the ‘fit came together. Maison Margiela was responsible for crafting the design, which is one of several the pop singer sported during the event, as she also performed onstage and accepted awards for Best Record and Pop Solo Performance.

Ryan Gosling's 2024

Ryan Gosling's 2024 "I'm Just Ken" Oscars Performance

Well folks, it happened. As the world has watched the 2024 Oscar winners crowned in real-time, the performances of the nominees for “Best Original Song” have kept the Ken-ergy up and running. And when it came time for Ryan Gosling to sing Barbie’s “I’m Just Ken,” the reactions from Margot Robbie and Billie Eilish were so hysterical, that it was almost better than the performance.

Of course, their shocked and laughing faces mirrored what basically everyone was thinking before Gosling’s song and dance number at L.A.’s Dolby Theatre really got going. After Robbie, Greta Gerwig and Eilish's amazing reactions, the pink-suited singer took the stage with several of his co-Kens from the Barbie cast, including Kingsley Ben-Adir, Simu Liu, and Ncuti Gatwa, the Barbie theatrics really took off. And yes dear fans, the chant of “Can you feel the Ken-ergy?” was kept in the live show.

It Sounds Like Camila Alves Actually Wasn't So Keen When Matthew Mcconaughey Initially Moved His Family From California To Texas

When Matthew McConaughey moved with his wife Camila Alves and their kids from noted LA-area beach town Malibu to Austin, Texas ten years ago, it seemed like a good fit. Alves spoke out about how they didn’t have a ton of privacy thanks to McConaughey’s stardom in tinseltown and Texas offered a lot of opportunity for a fresh start. But in some more recent comments the mom of three clarified her stance on when they first moved.

In fact, while the paparazzi-on-the-doorstep piece might be true, it was only one piece of the puzzle. In fact, Alves said she was very happy in Southern California, but marriage in general is a compromise and living there also came with drawbacks, as noted prior.

10 World War II Movies And Where They Take Place

World War II was exactly as it was billed, fought all over the world. World War II movies, of which there are many, are set across the world as well. Across Europe, Africa, and Asia, if there was fighting, there is probably a movie about it. Here is a list of some of those many movies -- some of which are among the best war movies of all time -- and where they took place.

'They're Complete Frauds To Me': George Miller Gets Real About Chris Hemsworth And Anya Taylor-Joy’s Wild Transformations For 'Furiosa'

By now you’ve seen the footage of Chris Hemsworth and Anya Taylor-Joy looking both badass and a bit unusual in George Miller’s upcoming "Mad Max: Fury Road" prequel film. It’s Hemsworth who’s completely unrecognizable in the "Furiosa" trailer, and it’s not just that he’s completely different-looking for fans either. Even people who worked closely with the two leads on set have trouble reconciling the characters with the real-life people inhabiting them.

George Miller popped onstage with Taylor Joy and Hemsworth, who were both very clean and very well-dressed onstage. He told the audience during the Warner Bros. 2024 CinemaCon panel that he’d “spent a year in the cutting room” looking at the two actors as their characters.

Disney Park Goers Shared Some Of The Obscene Things They’ve Seen At Disneyland, And There Are Some Common Themes

When you go to a place like Disneyland, where tens of thousands of people go every day, you’re bound to have to deal with all sorts of crazy things from different people. You can have wonderful moments when a stranger does something nice for you, but you can also have frustrating moments with tired and angry people. And then there are the gross things you’ll see that you wish you never had to witness.

If you’ve spent any considerable amount of time in a theme park, or just been unlucky, you may have witnessed some pretty awful stuff. A recent Reddit thread is highlighting the grossing thing people have seen at Disneyland specifically, and while there are all sorts of terrible things, I’m noticing three recurring themes.

Keanu Reeves And Chad Stahelski Explain How The 'John Wick' Movies Are Tied In With 'The Matrix'

While fans have loved Keanu Reeves and Chad Stahelski’s collaboration on the "John Wick" series, their relationship goes back to meeting on the set of the first "Matrix" film. The lineage between "John Wick" and "The Matrix" may not be obvious given how different their stories and characters are, but there are some connective threads. Reeves and Stahelski recently explained how the two action film franchises are tied together.

The frequent collaborators spoke about the connection between the two franchises during an interview with Wired. Stahelski was asked about his cameo role in "The Matrix Resurrections," which he cheekily called “tragic” after a not-so-great single-day shoot. Reeves played down the director’s account by saying he and Resurrections director Lana Wachowski thought his performance went well. All this "Matrix" talk led to the duo being asked about a possible connection between "John Wick" and the sci-fi franchise. While Reeves didn’t compare the franchises, he praised both series for their originality.

'NCIS: Origins' Just Cast Its Third Returning Character With An Actor Who's Already Appeared In The Franchise

Mark Harmon may have departed NCIS three years ago, but Leroy Jethro Gibbs’ story lives on… well, at least in the past. The upcoming prequel show NCIS: Origins will chronicle Gibbs joining the law enforcement agency in 1991, with Austin Stowell playing the younger version of the character. We also recently learned that Kyle Schmid will play the younger Mike Franks, who’s leading the ragtag team that Gibbs is on. Now it’s been revealed who’s playing Origins’ third returning NCIS character, and it’s an actor who’s already appeared in the franchise.

Johnny Depp Made $650 Million During His Heyday In Hollywood, But His Biggest Payout Was Not A 'Pirates Of The Caribbean' Movie

Johnny Depp has appeared in some of the most massive films of the 2000s and 2010s and has made a lot of money. While some may think his biggest payout came from his stint as Captain Jack Sparrow, it was actually from a different movie.

According to The Management Group (via Insider), who is Depp’s former management firm, the actor earned over $650 million over the 13 years he was with the firm, which was from 1999 to 2016. After filming a few "Pirates" movies, Depp starred as the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton’s "Alice in Wonderland." He ended up making even more on the backend of this film, with about $55 million on top of the $20 million he received at the start, making this his highest payday on a single movie.
