'연쇄 성폭행' 박병화, 수원 번화가 이사...주민 불안 / YTN

수원시 일대에서 20대 여성 열 명을 연쇄 성폭행해 징역 15년을 선고받고 출소한 박병화가 최근 거주지를 경기도 화성에서 수원으로 옮겼습니다.

유동 인구가 많고 젊은 층이 몰리는 번화가 한가운데여서 주민 불안감이 커지고 있습니다.

최명신 기자가 보도합니다.

지하철역과 술집, 음식점이 몰려 있는 수원 최대 번화가입니다.

2002년부터 5년간 수원 일대에서 여성 10명을 성폭행해 이른바 '수원 발발이'로 불렸던 박병화가 지난 14일 이곳의 한 오피스텔로 이사했습니다.

15년 형을 받고 출소한 뒤 화성에 살다가 거주지를 옮긴 겁니다.

이사 소식이 알려지자 주민들은 극도의 불안감을 호소합니다.

엘리베이터를 타기가 겁난다는 여성 거주자의 호소에 경찰관이 집까지 동행하는 일까지 있었습니다.

[인근 주민 : 불안하죠. 이사 가고 싶죠. 쫓아내지 못하면 내가 가야죠. 내가 피해야지.]

[인근 주민 : 알고 나니까 좀 무서운 것 같아요. 저도 좀 20대고 하니까 (괜히 듣고 나니까) 너무 무서운 느낌.]

앞서 전 거주지였던 화성시에서도 연일 퇴거 촉구 집회가 열리는 등 반발이 컸습니다.

"박병화는 떠나가라! 떠나가라! 떠나가라!"

수원시는 경찰, 법무부 등 유관기관과 함께 향후 대응 방안을 논의했습니다.

우선 주거지 주변 순찰을 24시간 체계로 강화하고 상시 추적이 가능하도록 보호관찰관이 1:1 밀착 관리하도록 했습니다.

[이재준 /수원시장 : 시민들 불안 해소 및 안전에 최우선을 다해야 하는데요, 수원시는 모든 수단을 동원해서 대응하고자 합니다.]

수원시는 재범 위험성이 높은 성폭력 범죄자의 거주지를 국가가 제한하도록 하는 '한국형 제시카법'이 조기 도입될 수 있도록 국회 청원운동도 벌인다는 계획입니다.

처벌 탄원서 지닌 채 숨진 유튜버...'보복 살인' 적용 / YTN

재판을 앞두고 법원 앞에서 생방송 하던 유튜버를 흉기로 찔러 살해한 50대가 보복 살인 혐의로 검찰에 넘겨졌습니다.

피해자는 가해자의 처벌을 원한다는 내용이 적힌 문서를 지녔던 거로 조사됐는데, 재판에서 불리한 진술을 막으려고 한 범죄로 보인다는 게 경찰 판단입니다.

차상은 기자입니다.

모자와 마스크로 얼굴을 가린 남성이 경찰서 밖으로 나옵니다.

지난 9일 부산 법원종합청사 앞에서 유튜브 생방송 하던 50대 피해자를 살해한 50대 A 씨입니다.

[A 씨 / 피의자 : (피해자에게 미안한 마음 없습니까?) 사회에 물의를 일으켜 죄송합니다. (언제부터 범행 계획했습니까?)계획하지 않았습니다.]

경찰은 A 씨에게 적용했던 살인 혐의 대신 특정범죄 가중처벌법상 보복살인 혐의를 적용해 사건을 검찰에 넘겼습니다.

범행 당일 상해사건의 피고인으로 재판 출석을 앞둔 A 씨가 해당 사건 피해자 B 씨가 법정에서 불리한 진술이나 행동을 할 거라고 예상해 저지른 보복 범죄라는 겁니다.

살인죄는 사형이나 무기징역 또는 5년 이상의 징역형이 선고되지만, 보복 살인죄는 징역형이 10년 이상으로 더 무거운 처벌이 이뤄집니다.

B 씨는 습격 당시 A 씨의 처벌을 원한다는 내용이 담긴 A4 용지 3장 분량의 문서를 지녔던 거로 확인됐습니다.

B 씨는 자신의 유튜브 방송에서 A 씨 재판에 찾아가겠다고 예고한 뒤, 다음 날 재판이 예정된 법원 앞에서 흉기에 찔려 숨졌습니다.

경찰은 A 씨가 흉기를 미리 준비하고, 범행에 쓸 차량도 빌린 점으로 미뤄 계획적인 범행이라고 결론 냈습니다.

지난 9일 밤 가수 김호중 씨가 강남 한복판에서 접촉사고를 낸 뒤 도주한 현장 모습인데요.

2시간이 조금 지난 10일 새벽 2시.

김 씨의 매니저는 김호중 씨가 입었던 옷을 입고 경찰에 출석해 자신이 운전하다 사고를 냈다고 자수했지만, 허위로 드러났죠.

김호중 씨는 뒤늦게 본인이 운전한 사실을 실토했는데요.

이미 사고 17시간이 지나 음주 측정은 의미가 없었습니다.

블랙박스 메모리 카드고 없어진 뒤였고요.

경찰은 결국 이를 증거인멸 시도로 보고 김 씨의 자택과 소속사를 압수수색할 예정입니다.
