1MDB, subsidiaries file lawsuit against Rosmah for US$346mil

1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB), SRC International Sdn Bhd and nine subsidiaries have filed a civil lawsuit against Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor seeking US$346mil belonging to the company.

The plaintiffs claimed that Rosmah, the wife of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, had used the funds from the companies to purchase luxury items such as jewellery, watches and handbags.

Old Trafford Leaking Roof Strikes again as Storm hits the Stadium Near Full-Time in Gunners 1-0 Win

The decrepit state of Old Trafford was laid bare as Manchester United sprang a leak on and off the pitch.

As United sank to a 1-0 defeat to Arsenal, who kept up their title challenge on reigning champions Manchester City, a fierce thunderstorm swamped the 114-year-old stadium.

Water could be seen cascading from one corner of the ground while videos on social media showed a flood pouring under seats and even where the players’ tunnel meets the dressing rooms.

United said that 1.6 inches of rain fell in two hours after the final whistle – more than in the entire month of May last year – but supporters of both clubs left the stadium safely.

The deluge coincided with a visit from Labour Party leader and Arsenal season-ticket fan Sir Keir Starmer as a guest of Mayor of Greater Manchester Andy Burnham, who met with Lord Coe and United’s minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe beforehand to discuss the future of Old Trafford.

Coe is head of the task force driving plans to regenerate the stadium and surrounding areas.

United is backing Ratcliffe’s vision to bulldoze Old Trafford and build a ‘Wembley of the North’ at a cost of up to £ 2 billion but will consider renovating the existing stadium if it is not feasible.

Ratcliffe pledged £237million to upgrade Old Trafford as part of his £1.3bn investment in United, but Sunday's flood was a reminder that plenty more will be needed to plug the gaps.

While rival fans delight in singing that ‘Old Trafford is falling’, United supporters point to the wretched state of the stadium as a symbol of neglect by the Glazer family during 19 years in power.

'Embarrassing, sums up the neglect the Glazers have shown towards the upkeep and maintenance of Old Trafford and Carrington,' one fan wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Another wrote: 'United fans deserve better!! Fix the fu..n roof!!!' A third said: 'Clubs rotten in every single aspect.'

'They still haven’t fixed the roof?? sorry to the people sat right under the hole in the ceiling,' said another.

Co-chairman Avram Glazer was 200 miles away from Old Trafford in the Royal Box at Wembley as United’s women’s team beat Tottenham to lift the FA Cup.

Ratcliffe sent a good luck message to coach Marc Skinner and the players in the morning and posted his congratulations on social media.

Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 253 (Arabic Recitation): “ تِلۡكَ ٱلرُّسُلُ فَضَّلۡنَا بَعۡضَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖۘ مِّنۡهُم مَّن كَلَّمَ ٱللَّهُۖ وَرَفَعَ بَعۡضَهُمۡ دَرَجَٰتٖۚ وَءَاتَيۡنَا عِيسَى ٱبۡنَ مَرۡيَمَ ٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ وَأَيَّدۡنَٰهُ بِرُوحِ ٱلۡقُدُسِۗ ”

Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 253 (English Translation): “ Those messengers - some of them We caused to exceed others. Among them were those to whom Allāh spoke, and He raised some of them in degree. And We gave Jesus, the son of Mary, clear proofs, and We supported him with the Pure Spirit [i.e., Gabriel]. ”

Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat 253 (Urdu Translation): “ یہ رسول ہیں جن میں سے ہم نے بعض کو بعض پر فضیلت دی ہے ، ان میں سے بعض وه ہیں جن سے اللہ تعالیٰ نے بات چیت کی ہے اور بعض کے درجے بلند کئے ہیں، اور ہم نے عیسیٰ بن مریم کو معجزات عطا فرمائے اور روح القدس سے ان کی تائید کی۔ ”

The English translation by Saheeh International and the Urdu translation by Maulana Muhammad Junagarhi, both published by the renowned King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex (KFGQPC). Surah Al-Baqarah is the second chapter of the Quran.

따스한 햇살에, 봄바람이 살랑입니다.

주말과 휴일에는 비바람과 황사로 야외활동하기가 다소 어려웠는데요,

한 주의 시작인 오늘은 쾌청한 봄 날씨가 돌아왔습니다.

기온도 쑥쑥 올라 현재 서울 기온이 벌써 22도로, 쌀쌀했던 아침보다 무려 10도가량 높은데요.

널뛰기하는 기온에 건강 잃지 않도록 체온조절에는 신경 써주셔야겠습니다.

오후가 되면서 햇살에는 더욱 따스함이 감돌고 있습니다.

대기 질도 '좋음'에서 '보통' 수준으로 양호한데요.

다만 맑고 따뜻한 날씨에, 영동에서는 대기가 무척 건조합니다.

현재 영동에는 건조주의보가 내려진 가운데, 그 밖의 동쪽 지방에서도 대기가 차차 메말라가겠는데요.

바람도 다소 강하게 불고 있어 산불 등 화재 위험성이 큰 만큼, 불씨관리 철저히 해주셔야겠습니다.

오늘 낮 동안 내륙을 중심으로는 기온이 25도 안팎까지 올라 무척 따뜻하겠습니다.

서울 24도, 광주 25도, 대구는 26도까지 오르겠습니다.

박상학 "강화도서 대북전단 30만장 북한으로 보냈다"

탈북민단체 자유북한운동연합이 인천 강화도에서 대북전단 등을 북한으로 보냈다고 오늘(13일) 밝혔습니다.

이 단체 박상학 대표는 "지난 10일 밤 11시쯤 김정은을 규탄하는 대북전단 30만장과 K팝·트로트 동영상 등을 저장한 USB 2천개를 대형풍선 20개에 매달아 보냈다"고 전했습니다.

풍선에 매달린 현수막에는 "김정은은 불변의 역적, 민족의 원수"라는 문구가 새겨졌습니다.

자유북한운동연합이 대북전단을 보낸 것은 지난해 10월 이후 7개월 만으로, 올해 들어서는 처음입니다.

정부는 북한군이 풍선을 향해 고사총을 쏘는 등의 도발을 우려해 대북전단 살포 자제를 요청하고 있습니다.

북한은 2024 아시아축구연맹(AFC) 17세 이하(U-17) 여자 아시안컵에서 한국 팀을 이긴 소식을 일주일이 지난 오늘(13일) 다른 경기 결과들과 함께 보도했습니다.

조선중앙통신은 북한 여자축구팀이 "지난 6일 첫 경기에서 괴뢰 한국팀을 7:0으로 타승(쳐서 이김)했다"며 "9일 필리핀팀을 6:0으로, 12일 인도네시아팀을 9:0으로 물리쳤다"고 전했습니다.

김정은 국무위원장이 남북관계를 '적대적인 교전국 관계'라고 규정한 이후 북한은 우리를 '괴뢰 한국'으로 지칭하고 있습니다.

Sultan Brebes Didorong Ribuan Warga Maju Pilkada

BREBES, KOMPAS.TV - Sejumlah warga di Kabupaten Brebes, Jawa Tengah berbondong-bondong mendatangi rumah seorang pengusaha bawang merah mendesak sang pengusaha maju dalam bursa pilkada.

Kelompok warga ini datang dari berbagai elemen masyarakat seperti petani bawang merah, nelayan, pedagang, hingga kalangan santri di Kabupaten Brebes.

Seorang pengusaha bawang merah ini adalah Benny Santoso. Benny dikenal warga Kabupaten Brebes dengan panggilan Sultan Brebes.

Atas desakan warga, Sang Sultan Brebes akhirnya menemui kelompok warga di depan rumahnya.

Di hadapan massa, Benny secara terang terangan menyatakan belum bersedia maju dalam bursa di Pilkada Kabupaten Brebes.


Terlebih, hal ini belum dikonsultasikan dengan keluarganya. Soal dirinya yang sempat menjadi pembina relawan Prabowo-Gibran di Kabupaten Brebes pada Pilpres 2024, Benny mengaku hanya ingin memenangkan Prabowo-Gibran di Kabupaten Brebes tanpa mengincar kursi kepala daerah.

"Saya benar-benar tidak tahu karena semalam baru pulang dari luar kota, baru dikasih tau tadi malam bahwa akan ada aksi seperti ini. Dengan adanya dorongan seperti ini mungkin saya akan bermusyawarah dengan keluarga betul betul memikirkan ini, akan saya pikirkan serius. Karena dari awal kita pilpres kemarin saya tidak ada berpikir keinginan saya sendiri unutuk maju itu tidak ada. Jadi dengan adanya ini, Insya Allah saya akan berpikir matang apakah saya akan memutuskan maju atau tidak. Karena kita sedikitpun keinginan untuk maju bupati itu tidak parnah. Baru kali ini, dengan adanya seperti ini, Insya Allah saya akan bermusyawarah dengan keluarga," tutur Benny.

Warga meminta Benny di maju Pilkada Kabupaten Brebes, karena Benny dinilai warga sebagai sosok yang dermawan, mumpuni, dan tidak akan memanfaatkan anggaran negara untuk kepentingan pribadi.

Ella Toone netted a stunning goal as Manchester United defeated Tottenham in the FA Cup final at Wembley.

Marc Skinner's side entered the clash at Wembley looking to avenge their disappointment from last season's final where they suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Emma Hayes' Chelsea.

But a strong run this season, including redemption in the form of a 2-1 victory over the Blues in the semi-final, set up a blockbuster clash with Spurs at the national stadium.

With the game seemingly set to go into the interval goalless, England star Toone effortlessly skipped past Eveliina Summanen before firing a strike from outside the penalty box.

The shot sailed into the top corner on the goalkeeper's left-hand side and sparked wild celebrations from the United faithful among the 76,082 fans in attendance.

Toone's wonder goal delighted United supporters on social media with one writing: 'The shift to creating the time and space for the shot is masterful. Ella at her best is like marking a trout.'

Another added: 'Wow wow wow what a strike @ellatoone99 take a bow. This lady knows how to deliver on the big stage.'

United turned on the style after the restart, with Rachel Williams doubling her side's lead on 54 minutes.

Lucia Garcia then added a second-half brace as United secured the first major honor in their history.
